The Isle of Cotton Candy Skies

Legend tells of an island, hidden amongst the clouds. An island known as the “Isle of cotton candy skies.” This mystical place is full of animals that are all pink, and is said to be the birthplace of all pink creatures in the bunny kingdom. From pink birbs and pink rats, to pink elephants and pink bats, pink lions and pink dogs, to pink cows and pink frogs, every animal on the island is a shade of pink.

The island is said to float on a pink cloud, moving with the winds, and can only be accessed through a passageway that opens during rare sunsets, when the sky stays blue but the clouds turn a sweet shade of bubble gum pink, making the island extremely hard to find and even harder reach. Many scientists and explorers have searched for the proper conditions that cause the pink clouds, but these occurrences are said to happen only every few years..

There are many who don’t believe in the island. Some claim it is merely an old tale grandmas tell little ones during storm season. A myth, fairy tale, fable, legend. Yet there are still those who search for it, eager to uncover its secrets. However, according to the legend, only those who are pure of heart and truly believe in the island’s existence, can find it. Those who are fortunate enough to find the island are said to be blessed with good luck and happiness for the rest of their days.

But the truth is, I know the secret, and I pass it on to you, Only share it with others who’s heart is pure and true. The truth behind the legend, “The Isle of Cotton Candy Skies”. The conditions revealing the passage only occur after a storm that happens every few years. A heavy storm that appears from nowhere after a sunny blue sky morning. The sky turns dark all day with rains that blow up and sideways. Lightning lights up the dark sky while thunder shakes the ground beneath. A storm that lasts for two nights and three days. But at the end of the third day the storm clears as quick as it first appeared, and as the sun sets, the clouds begin to turn bubble gum pink, like cotton candy skies. The gateway opens for but a moment, granting passage to those who find themselves in the right location. As to the location tho.. well, the true key is to believe with all your heart that you will end up in the right place at the right time. And perhaps, one day, you just might.
